Our Rooms

We offer three beautiful bedrooms (Luskentyre, Scarista and Borve) which can either be configured as superking or twin (on reservation). All bedrooms have their own allocated parking space (with the option to reserve our EV charger at booking), their own luxurious en-suite, a welcome tray, ultra-fast Wi-Fi and smart television (with freesat and streaming) for your entertainment.

We provide a warm welcome, great customer service and a hearty cooked breakfast to start your day. We will always be here to meet and greet you in person. There is a large mature garden with magnificent views over the island's North Harbour and Harris hills for you to enjoy. We provide a relaxed and comfortable environment, we even provide you with slippers and plush dressing gowns so you can feel right at home.

We offer guests the convenience of additional services such as nightly lite-bites, a weekend dining experience (view our menu), packed lunches and a fine selection of wine and beers. We also provide a laundry service to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Pricing 2026 (March-November)

Prices are variable per room per night:

• Luskentyre and Scarista are superior larger rooms with harbour views: From £184pn for 2+ nights (£200 for one night)
• Borve is a standard room with a garden view: From £170pn for 2+ nights (£190 for one night)

Maximum occupancy per room is two adults (we deduct £10 per night for single occupancy). A full cooked breakfast is included, and we accept bank transfer or secure on-line card payment. Proceed to availability checking.

• All rooms are up one flight of stairs, have private en-suites with mains pressure shower and a smart television with freesat channels and streaming services (for BBC Iplayer/ITVX/Channel4 and Disney+).
• Each room can be configured as either superking or twin (on reservation)
• The Guest House has Ultra-Fast Internet coverage throughout and ethernet connectivity.
• Check-in after 4.30pm, check-out by 10am
• A deposit of 25% is required on booking, with the balance due 4 weeks prior to arrival.
• We are licenced to sell alcohol with a hand-picked selection of wine and beer.
• We offer an optional wash and fold laundry service.
• We are cyclist-friendly offering safe, convenient bike storage so you can relax after a day in the saddle and we provide a boot dryer in the unlikely event of rain :)
• We offer guests a selection of dining options, nightly lite-bites (orderable by WhatsApp), a weekend dinner service at 6.30pm (orderable the evening before) and packed lunches.
• Each room has its own parking space at the front of the guest house and the option to reserve our EV charger (on booking).
• Sorry, we are unable to accommodate pets or children (under the age of 14).
• Scalpay is connected to Harris by bridge and is 7 miles scenic drive from Tarbert (ferry port).
• We are a fully licenced guest house (STL: ES01347F) required by Scottish Government Law and issued by Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar Council.
